About the Film With the release of the new Cinema Picture Profile, I wanted to do a quick test video comparing my favorite PP, ‘Cinestyle’. For this video, I increased the sharpness in order to show how each coped with it. All camera settings were consistent throughout the tests. About the Film I wanted to investigate how the Canon 7D would handle drastic changes in lighting when set to aperture priority. In the frame, I wanted to include as many changing variables as possible to see how the auto exposure would cope with the changes. In the frame, I included a candle, a lamp, and traffic lights. About the Film Recently, I was asked to shoot one of the “I Heart Regina” projects tentatively entitled, “A Foreign Song” with Helder Mauricio Carvajal. We were also told strictly that we have to use the HVX but being that we have access to a 7D with lots of glass, and since I have never shot a short film with it yet, I thought we should take it out for some tests to see how it matched with the HVX

I am currently producing a posting a 3 Minute Short film everyday. I am doing this in hopes of becoming a better filmmaker. My project is based off of the 10,000 hr rule which states that, "the key to success in any field is, to a large extent, a matter of practicing a specific task for a total of around 10,000 hours". At the end of the first year, I will have logged approximately 5,000 hours.
